weedThe WEED project has just published it second newsletter. WEED is a thematic network of nine cities which aims to capitalize knowledge and practice around the participation of women on the labour market and entrepreneurship development. It is based on the premise that local government can play an important role in transforming positively their social and knowledge based asset linked to the women participation into the local economic life.

The newsletter contains information about  recent WEED workshop on “strategies for promoting women entrepreneurship”, as well as a good practice case study from Business Support Kent (UK), an interview with Philippe Guichandut from the European Microfinance Network as well as other relevant information concerning the issues around women and entrepreneurship.
