Laura Colini

Phd in Urban and Territorial Studies at the University of Florence (IT), with a research on media and low-income communities at MIT Boston (USA), post Doc Eu Marie Curie Fellow at Bauhaus University Weimar (DE), and researcher at IRS, Leibniz Institute in Berlin (DE) on peripheralisation with a focus on post-socialist German cities. Beside teaching, since 2004 she works as independent consultant on themes related to governance and social inequalities in EU urban policies for URBACT and the EU COM. She now works as independent professional, with research interest on social-spatial inequalities, financialization and housing. She is part of the artists’ collectives OginoKnauss and Viaindustriae, and member of INURA network. Co-founder of Tesserae urban and social research.
